When
Evaluate the effectiveness of the full board annually. You can do this any time of year, and if you have never evaluated your board, dive in and conduct an evaluation right away. Most boards then develop a routine of conducting the evaluation at the end of the school year. This is a helpful way to reflect on the board’s work for the past year and calibrate the priorities for the upcoming year.

How
Have your entire board and your CEO take all of the assessments in the BoardOnTrack Assessments Tab. Look at the results together, and prioritize the areas that you would like to improve. Save your results, retake the assessments in a year, and track your progress overtime.
