Annually, the CEO should draft a “State of the School Report,” receive input from the board’s Academic Excellence Committee on this document, and then, ultimately, share this document with the full board for approval. The State of the School Report is a “road map that articulates:
- A baseline: what the organization has achieved to date
- Annual Goals: where you want to be by the end of this upcoming school year
- Charter Goals: where you need to be at the end of your charter
- Comparison Data, if that is available
