How do I scroll on a Mac?

If you are using a browser on Apple's OS X, such as Safari or Google Chrome, the scroll bars do not display automatically. Because scroll bars do not display, views that contain information that can only display after scrolling, are not accessible. To resolve this issue, you must change the OS setting to always display the scroll bar.

  1. Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click General.
  2. Under Show scroll bars, select Always.
